Most event platforms charge a percentage of every payment on top of what you already pay them. signup.studio doesn't. Your Stripe account collects the money directly — we never touch it.
Free sign‑ups always. Payment collection is a one-time $5 per sign‑up.
How it works
One-time OAuth flow. You connect the Stripe account where you want to receive payments. Takes about two minutes.
Add a payment amount to any sign‑up you create. Participants pay at registration — before their spot is confirmed.
Stripe deposits directly to you on their normal payout schedule. We never hold funds, never disburse funds, never take a cut.
The math
When you drive your own traffic — email your list, post on social, text your group — a per-transaction platform fee is a tax on your own audience.
With a 5% platform cut
20 participants at $50 each:
$50 to the platform
Every. Single. Event.
With signup.studio
20 participants at $50 each:
$0 to signup.studio
One flat $5 per sign‑up. Nothing per transaction.
What you always pay
Stripe's standard processing fee applies regardless of what platform you use:
2.9% + 30¢ per transaction
This is Stripe's fee, not ours. We don't mark it up.
